My family had a wonderful early dinner at Armand's. The location is superb, especially during the summer when you can eat outside (during alfresco). It's a great place to people watch and enjoy the outdoors. The food & drink selection are both good! My wife and I split the Italian beef pizza, which was fun and tasty, although pretty spicy!

First time at Armand 's. My party if 6 are alfresco. The atmosphere and food were fantastic. We ended the night with chocolate cake. Parking on the garage was super easy. Great experience!

I’ll start off with the good. Eating alfresco almost always helps you enjoy the experience of dinning out. There’s just something about enjoying the nice day out with some food and drinks that helps you destress. While we were quoted a 30 min wait time we were seating well before that time. We ordered the fried calamari with peppers on top, a side of french fries, a Nova (very thin) Margherita pizza, and a pan style pizza. The calamari was delicious and the peppers gave it a nice kick which we enjoyed. The fries could possibly be the best fries I’ve had. They’re crispy but flaky in the middle and overall such a great fry I would go back just for the fries alone. I know, I’m hyping up the fries too much you may think but they were that good. No fancy sauces to accompany it or the typical truffle fries that always seem to be not as good as you imagined. Now for the bad. While every table outside was occupied I wouldn’t say it was an absolute hectic day so we expected reasonable service. Our waitress took our drink orders and didn’t come back for a good 10 mins. Either the manager or another server saw that we didn’t have drinks and were looking around so they came over to make sure we were helped and went to go check on our drinks. Our drinks came soon after and we finally were able to get our order in. We also weren’t offered refills or another drink order until we saw our waitress towards the end of our meal. I love pizza and when it comes to judging it I tend to have some checkboxes that must be checked. The cheese on the pan style was grainy and had a crumbly feeling to it not your typical stretchy delicious cheese you would expect. The sausage pieces had a nice snap to them but lacked flavor. The crust was a little doughy in places but the bottom had a nice crunch. The Nova style Margherita had some crunch but not enough for a very thin pizza. It did have some taste to it but overall it was just lacking. Overall while the food wasn’t terrible it’s not something we would come back to order again. Maybe we’ll try out the other dishes they offer but it being labeled a pizza place I wouldn’t come for that. Also for what it’s worth the workers were all nice and friendly we just didn’t get the right amount of attention to our table.

We visited this downtown area for a friend's birthday trip. We arrived a day early so went around downtown and found this restaurant. The road was closed off and we parked at the train station parking lot. We ordered the Nova Margarita thin crust pizza. The prices were fair and the pizza was good but in my opinion not the best. They really shine with their chicken parmesan sliders. Our order had three sliders and the flavor was really tasty. The marinera was homemade and was robust in flavor. We did not order any alcoholic drinks but the prices seemed affordable. I will visit again and in the future I will be ordering from their pasta and Italian selection. The atmosphere was really welcoming and if the weather is nice you can sit outside and enjoy your meal. Experiencing this restaurant has motivated me to visit more suburbs near the Chicago area. I hope to visit again and explore more of the Illinois area.

Ate here for the first time - outside dining in downtown Arlington Heights is a great experience. We were seated right away at 6 pm on a gorgeous Sunday summer night. Server was fine - didn’t check on us very often or offer anything beyond adequate but we never had to chase him down. Had the meatball & ricotta appetizer (yummy) - my husband had a thin sausage & mushroom pizza & I had Pizza Nova Mia Moglie (thinner & olive oil base with spinach, garlic, mozzarella and ricotta with fresh diced tomatoes. We prefer our pizzas a little crispier but both were yummy.
